everything was working fine when i was at my girlfriends house when i was using her wifi which had a 192.168.x.x ip address but when i went to my house all havoc broke loose. This is because my ccapi doesnt even want to connect. i have no clue in which i should do please help. i have already tried reinstalling the software. for some reason the ip address that shows up on the ps3 is a 10.x.x.x PLEASE HELP ME OUT AND RESPOND ASAP

If your PS3's IP is 10.x.x.x then use that IP. I'm pretty sure it's normal to have a 10.x.x.x as I've seen others with and IP like that.

Even if i use the 10.x.x.x ip it still fails to connect

when moving from house to house your ps3's IP shouldn't change, as long as the IP on the control console tool on your pc matches the one in system setting > system information and both the tool and ps3 app is installed it should work

Just add that the new IP as one of your console's in Console Control. Then you should be good to connect.

Small TUT:

Step 1: Go to system information (On your PS3)
Step 2: Locate your IP
Step 3: Open Control Console
Step 4: Click on File -> Add new console And follow the steps
