It really depends how you do it, If you're using PS3Lib (Which most people do) you can just do

Im at my mates house and he has open nat so I thouhht I would force host but it just keeps searching? On my net I find a game but no players due to moderate. And suggestions?

If your internet isn't good enough you'll have to host League Play as that puts any player from that region in your lobby, it's why you'll find more people hosting in League Play then Public. People think it's because League is 'official' and it makes them feel 1337 or some shit but it's just easier :p
