What's up NGU, today I finally finished downloading BO2 on my PC and moved it to the PS3 using FileZilla. Yeah, it was a torrent, basically the same thing as if I took a BO2 disc and copied to my HDD. But yea.
Once I updated and tried it, I went to multiplayer, I pressed "Play Online", I wait like 30 secs and it tells me the
"NOTICE, The Call of Duty: Black Ops II server is not available at this time. Please try again later or visit -
You must login or register to view this content. for updates."
And when I go to the link, PS3 is at Recon 5 so what the absolute fuck? Why won't it let me connect?
UPNP on, Using Google DNS (Changed to that after error), Yes yes yes, I've restarded router, PS3, everything, deleted updates, new account, all those tutorials and whatnot.
My NAT is strict.
I also did some research on the "System Info" that you get when you press SELECT in the Options menu ..
My Connectivity Information says: A.B.C.-.E-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
I read somewhere that it means you're banned, but I just fricking got the game and I try to connect for the first time???????? Dafuq!
Bandwith: 0Kbps, Okay then!
Ip is correct, etc. etc.
So obviously something is wrong, I was able to play Bo2 earlier (2-4 months ago) With my old OFW PS3 with another account and a legit disc.
Should I try borrow a friends disc and try on the OFW console to see if it's a console thing or a connection thing?
Or you guys got any suggestions? This pisses me off. I wasted my whole day on getting BO2 to work and now this crap happens. Was hoping to get a good modding session but fuck sake :madsal::madsal:
