No this will not get you banned. To stay safe just dont mod maliciously and do not use homebrew whilst signed in to psn.

If you play public in any game, you will have a chance of getting banned, people will report you & at a certain point will catch Activision or sony's attention.
But if you are careful, you won't.

I have been modding cod4, bo2, mw2 for ages now online and going like 90-5 and still nothing man. Honestly the worst that can happen to you is just a profile ban on the game or something. But then you just make a new profile and you're good to go
