Have you tried:

- Extracting the Save Editor to a folder.
- Copying your BO2 Savegame to your desktop then loading through the save editor.
- Started a campaign game, quit and save and transfer to your computer to edit through the save editor.
- Started a local/splitscreen multiplayer game and transfer to your computer to edit through the save editor.

Tried it and still same error. Is it possibly because I'm running a more current version than the 3.5 on PS3?

Delete the save, go into debug settings and enable fake save data, Install it then you should have it.
