If you have alot of downs it will be faster to play on a new account and in my opinion it's not worth it's better to play in you main account you will get it in the end of you are a good player still there's no DLC came out why the rush =)

i made a new account that has like 3 games played and 20 downs but has knife rank?

Theres alot of things help level up while theres other things will slow your leveling so you can have account with a bad k/d but you got to round 100 and you might have shotguns , I got the knife while I had 14k kills and he got it when he got 28k kills becasue he had a lower k/d than mine, so k/d does effect you ranking not the only way but it does.

yes you are right about that a new acount would help but kd isn't as important as people say it is

Yeah I know that I have 300+ k/d and 55k kills and still no shotguns, but since the downs derank you basicly with alot of downs you will rank up slower than usual.
