Dude, no offence but, are you really THAT clueless about this map? Its been out for almost a month now for XBOX people and I would assume people would have the majority of things down. Sorry but thats just my thought.

Anyways, im pretty sure you lose the sliquifier gun when you completely die, not just go down. If you do end up dying, it automatically goes into the mystery box and anyone in the game can get it once it goes there.

Honestly though, this is pretty much common knowledge. Had you returned to the place in which you had acquired said weapon in the first place you'd have been told that message in the game.
