So we want 2 people that join us, and then leave the game when the countdown counter is @ 1. So we start the game with 2 players only.

both of you sign in with your second controller, not as guest, and just back out on the second controllers last minute.

just get the party host to lag their connection whilst searching for a lobby. upload a few vids on youtube at the same time etc... and no one will join your lobby
