If it is a black screen, try enabling BD-Mirror through Multiman. That always solved the problem for me.

Load game through multiman and insert a random game disc.disc will change to black ops 1 and load game

Hit square in multiman on Black Ops. Enable BD Mirror and Internal or External depending on what HDD you downloaded to.
