how does steady aim help a sniper, just curious

who needs iron lungs !!!!!! most pointless perk ever !!! that's for noob snipers that take like the whole match to get 1 headshot !!! anyway i use m40a3, red tiger and acog, with claymores, stopping power and steady aim. Im a mint no scoper.
