cod 4 freezes when going online

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys, when i click go online on cod 4 it says downloading game settings and after 3 seconds the game freezes and the contoller doesnt work, and i have to manually turn my ps3 off, does any body know how to fix this problem, !!!!!!! my console is a ps3

Hey a similiar thing happens to me it doesnt freeze but when i press go online it says downloading game settings and have to turn my ps3 off.

its so annoying, mine freezes completly, any idea of whats happening
