Bypassing could not cause it. there's a good chance that is a hardware failure.

No its just your blueray drive has broke from lots of use. The last two cods haven't helped this if you play them because it is constantly reading from the disc it doesn't install anything onto the hd which is retarded.

They dont install onto the HD so less hacking lol also they make the ps3 so it eventually dies because if it last forever then sony wouldnt make any money... so they intentionally make a dieing point lol :(

Um not really its just the cod engine I believe and its not suited to doing it. You will see with many other games how it installs before letting you play like GTA and Killzone, its a pain but it saves your blueray from burning out

Ok thanks for the helped also just to clear things up so its bypassing doesnt harm your ps3 or do anything to your drive or anything its just that cod doesnt save to your HD and it runs off the cd which eventually the drive breaks? correct? because im wondering if I should continue hacking on my new ps3 as im afraid it going to break like my other did?... then im doomeed :(

I wouldn't say stop playing you get a good four years out of a ps3 before the blueray might brake, well mine did anyway after that long. The slim ps3s are more reliable anyway so don't worry about one braking
