Dont be silly, there is no way to patch it anyway because if you remember you BYPASS the patch, its just being unfair on this guy who clearly just wants to know how to do it. Well, here you go buddy! Now it depends on how bothered you really are on getting this to work online, you have to remember that you can only do this when your with friends who also have this hack, so its up to you whether you think its worth it. Anyway, you have to use 2 pieces of software, i recommend Logan5's Proxy Tool and Wireshark. Firstly, use Logan5's proxy tool which is so simple to use you hardly have to do anything, it comes with a tutorial so just have a read of that. You then need to use Wire Shark or similar which captures the packets sent from your PS3 to the router, this is the hard bit. The reason you need to use this software is because when you load call of duty 4 on your PS3, the first thing it does is check for updates, now if you captured the packets of an already updated COD4, then deleted the patch and sent those same packets back to your router again, then you will be able to play online. It is complicated but not impossible considering the amount of people doing it. Just remember, you need a hard wired connection for this to work. Hope this helps and please correct me if i'm missing some steps or some parts are unclear. Thanks, Josh.
