Since cod4 is kinda old now the only thing Activision would be concerned about is hacking the real online multi player. I think you need to find out what a proxy is before you start posting.

I'm sure there's a lot of people that are bored of CoD4, and want these hacks to bring some fun back and give them a reason to play it again. Just release the hacks. We all know it's gonna happen eventually, so just do it now. Besides, to my knowledge I don't think you can patch a proxy server.
