1. Go to split-screen. Load player and back out to play online. If that doesnt work try,

3. Also if you turn ur ps3 off at the back, then go back to game. It usually works after up to 3 times of doing it.

4. Unplug ethernet and plug back in after 30 seconds. Usually works for me.

5. I know this may sound stupid but if you use an ethernet cable. Change network settings to wireless and it somehow works.

6. The one that works the most is if you go to game data utilty and delete the Call Of Duty 4 Patch and gO to cod 4. Re-install update and it works most of the time.

No, it doesn't work. There are many people affected (not including those with wrongly configured internet connections, eg NAT moderate etc) who wont play COD4 again and nothing seems to work. I did everything possible, incl. new routers, new PS3 system and hundreds of IC configurations (on wireless and ethernet). I have losted my hope two months ago.
