Yes. Try signing in through the XMB. You wont freeze that way.

I cant do the bypass, I tried for 30 minutes straight and I could not get in.

Press the PS button. Go to Playstation Network>Sign in

And when the sign in dissapears, keep hitting circle to cancel the patch. Repeat untill you get in.

It's been happening to me, too. It worked for me a few days ago. Keep trying.
