If your using a cracked version of the game.
To play online, you need to open console (` its under escape)
And type /ip (ip goes here)

To get the cracked ip's. Visit this website: You must login or register to view this content. or You must login or register to view this content.

Now for the lagging part. You may need to turn down the graphics and details of the game. especially if your on the cracked version of the game.

Now for the final Part. When you start LAN , it should minimize and open a console. Thats fine, just leave it open. Open a new CoD4 and go "Play Online" then go from "internet" to LAN.

it still says lan not internet and it still minizmizes to the cod4 consule a new olne

need help on these 2 i got the online down but how do i turn my graphics card down i cant play online lagging lol

sorry for the late replie. just go your cod4 options. graphics -> then turn a few things down.
