you download a ftp program and put it on ur ps3 and download official cod4 patch then open up the ftp on ps3 and computer and connect and go BLUS or BLES and transfer patches done

Thats the file manager I use, I have no data from CoD4 on the PS3 (Game Data) So isn't that where the patch_mp is? Or on the disc?

Its the original cod4 patch bles00148 (uk) if u install it u will find in the file manager the cod4 patch here --> hdd0-->game-->bles00148-->USDIR-->"here is the patch_mp.ff"

If u need another bles or blus just msg me

you first need to install the update for the game then navigate from the file manager to dev_hdd0 -> game -> blus/bles id -> USDIR -> then delete the patch_mp.ff and copy over the one you have from a flash drive(or any other storage device)
