How To Put Cod4 Codes
On Your PS3

Step One:[/B]
Turn on your ps3 and go to "Save Data Utillity"
Find and copy your call of duty 4 Save game onto your usb.
Step Two:[/B]
Find the codes you want to use. In this example i will use my own: You must login or register to view this content.
Step Three:[/B]
In most releases people do they would have GRAD0_MP and GRAD0_CM or MP and CM so you know were to put the codes. if they do not have these ask a member in the cod4 section and i am sure they would help.
if they do have these then follow this.
open you GRAD0_MP folder in notepad or any text editing software. copy the GRAD0_MP (MP) codes from the thread you got them from and paste them in your file and save.
now do the same for you GRAD0_CM file. make sure they are both under 2kbs or it Will Not Work
Step Four:[/B]
Overwrite your current cod4 save on your ps3 with the one you have just edited.
Step Five:[/B]
There are a number of ways to bypass, one would be to use Resistance: Fall of Man. Another, simple one would be to use Elite Mossy's patch blocker.
Using the patch blocker is easy, simply download it (search on google) and press the only button there. Then on your PS3, go to Network settings, dadadada, dadadada, Proxy Settings. Once on Proxy Settings, Type in the IP of the Patch Blocker and ports.
You should now be online and bypassed using your CoD4 Codes

Go back to your PS3 with your USB/storage media & copy the game data from your USB/storage media onto PS3, ignore any errors and press "yes" when asking to overwrite.
You're done.

So copy the code from the bind creator, put it into the MP file. (anywhere in the file?) Then paste the updated MP file back to my PS3 .... that's it?
The bind creator is all I'll need then I'll be able to play online games where I press the buttons I designate as the cheat buttons and they'll activate in game?
EDIT: The website isn't allowing me to 'generate code' after I mess with the bind creator?

First question:
No, you need to delete everything in GRAD0_MP.pff and GRAD0_CM.pff (I think those are them), then copy and paste the binds into GRAD0_MP.pff and close down and save. (DO NOT EDIT GRAD0_CM.pff if you want to use the codes online)

Second question:
I think you MAY have to be host, or bypass it (although I'm not sure), so if you just do that and go online then push one of the buttons (dPad_UP, etc), and if it works, no need to bypass or be host, if it doesn't, try and be in a private match where you are host, if it works, you need to be host, if not, you need to bypass it.
Third question:
I've just tried it & it works on both of the links.

It's not hard at all. Just push the only button on there, go to your PS3, go to internet settings > proxy settings, then on your PC on the program, you'll see an IP address, put that IP address on the proxy settings on your PS3, then, boom. You're done.

Can't get it to work. Pasted this into the mp:
Copied it to the PS3 it's at 83kb in the save data utility and won't work.
I used the patch blocker but when I clicked play online with it activated it signed me out of PSN and can't sign back in until I stop blocking.

Alright I got on while patch blocker is up but it's not working in game.
I put the above in the MP but didn't edit/touch the CM or whatever because I want to use them online, help?

Additional information: I used the example a few posts above and it changed my clan tag to what it says in the code but that's it...no menu or cheats activated.
