you get "real" experience points. and no you do not have to play in private matches

yeah you do get ep points and score and the leaderboard and you can get all your gold guns easier with unlitmited cage and speed upp time....

You can play in private matches too, there is a cmd somewhere that gives you the EXP in the private match.
