1. Turn off Controller
2. Turn back on (in the start menu again)
3. Go to Options
4. Select Button Layout
5. DO NOT SELECT ANYTHING
6. Back out of the start menu into the game
7. It should say "ufomode on" in the bottom left corner

The method for deactivating it is exactly the same

You cannot shoot, jump or interact with any objects when this hack is in your gamesave, even if it is not activated.
