Post: Renaming Dvar's in the EBOOT.BIN [an old internet tutorial but new for ps3]

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys,this is just a quick thread explaining how you can rename cetain dvars or certain commands to make them work for ANYONE who can host or is infected, this isnt just for bypass, this is for the people who like to add dvars to their scripts aswell, so enjoy this little tutorial.

The decrupted EBOOT.BIN can be downloaded from Chocos thread - You must login or register to view this content.

1. open the decrypted EBOOT.BIN in HxD Hex Editor and press CTRL + F
2. Enter a dvar that you want to modify, list can be found You must login or register to view this content.
3. at the beginning of every dvar it has its base location(r_, cg_, sv_, g_ etc..) replace them with a custom one(make sure you give it the exact save number of spaces, example would be vv_fullbright.
4. save the EBOOT.BIN and close HxD Hex Editor.
5. Re-Pack And Encrypt and load up cod4mp.
6.start a game (on pc is recommended for testing) and open up the console and type in vv_fullbright and if you enter the value it will work, this method also works if your NOT host and also when you infect people with it it will also work with them to.

Other stuff you can edit
• you can mess around with the dvar description aswell, just look below the dvar for the meanings.

If you want any other EBOOT's decrypted let me know, also for those who know what they're doing you can execute config files (with unlimited size), and you can bind in the EBOOT.

Actually as it happens i need a hand with the black ops EBOOT, not for executing Dvars something else... Would you be able to send me a decrypted 3.55 Black ops CD EBOOT i thinks it's like 55mb? it's on the back up of black ops.. and not the game files one. Winky Winky

Maybe, I'm not sure yet... can you test an EBOOT mod for me real quick? It's a BO Eboot with cheat protection, write protection, and read-only protection disabled...

I cant test it lol, Blu ray is broken..
