Ok, first, as soon as you turn on the ps3 and get to the XMB, go to account management and sign in and out 3 times, with a few seconds inbetween them. Then start up cod4, hit circle on the patch and DONT SKIP ANYTHING! Instead go to the xmb during the start up clips, sign in and out constantly while hitting circle on the patch. If that doesn't work then move on to multiplayer > play online, hit sign in, then when you get the error message, go to xmb and sign in from there.

If all that doesnt work in 10 minutes then restart your ps3 and try again. But it should work the 1st time you try.

1st, the signing in and out on the home screen as soon as you boot your ps3 doesnt do anything. 2nd, these two methods have been covered very thoroughly multiple times on many, many threads. 3rd, you forgot to mention the fact that you need at least 60 friends for this to work. But good try anyway.

Well some people dont know, and if they saw this thread it would help them, why did you even bother posting and looking at this if you already know everything
