idk what to tell you my friend is having the same problem.

If your ps3 memory has low memory it freezes (dont know why) .. I used a 80gb my own ps3 and i used a 40gb .. When i bypassed on the 40gb in froze when i did what u did .. So i didnt know why i tried again and in the corner i got an error about memory or something so i cleared up .. Some space .. Deleted alot of games of the hdd and films etc .. And it worked ok ..

More dan likely this aint your problem . Try copy your save . Reset your ps3 den play ..

Thanks Mik I might try this. Appart from theres not much to delete apart from game data ? I Can bypass without the codes and it read HDD straight away but when i put thte save data on it takes years or just freezes Soo Annoying
