bind DPAD_UP "set timescale 12.0"
bind DPAD_DOWN "set timescale 1.0"

and i just wanted it into one, so i used
bind DPAD_UP "set timescale 12.0 1.0"

i know its too high at 12 but still why wont it work?

This bind DPAD_UP "set timescale 12.0 1.0" Just doesn't work its not correct.

Try bind DPAD_UP "toggle timescale 12.0 1.0" Doesn't work for me but i know people it does work for.

If it still wont work you just have to start using this again
bind DPAD_UP "set timescale 12.0"
bind DPAD_DOWN "set timescale 1.0"

does it depend on which code im using ?

No it u see toggle it means you can turn on speed and turn it off on 1 button try heads toggle
