Right..... then everyone was annoyed when the update came and the hack was patched. eventually people started doing thing to get past the patch... which worked. 4 months ago. if you dont want to wait for ages to get to rank 55 10th prestige in cod 4 follow these instruchions

1: download "patch blocker" on your pc.
2: go to "DeluxeBallaz" site on youtube and go to the video titled "cod 4 hack with leftover footage" (something like that)
3:go to network setting in you ps3 and go to connection settings. keep everyting the way it is only when it says "proxy" click "use"
4: it should now ask you for an ip adress. leave it for a moment and turn to your pc and open patch blocker. whatever ip it has type it in to you ps3. the port should be the same soo theres no need to change it.
5: Delete the cod 4 patch in game data utility.
6: i assume you have hacked before soo im not going to tell you how to add the codes and change them with the origional ones.
7:now click start on "patch blocker" on your pc.
8:start cod4 and you shouldnt be asked for an update.


ok, thats the hard part done. but you will get pretty annoyed when you cant find a game.

This bypassing method has been around since the Patch Blocker came out :S
I would do this with you, but I can guarantee it would get messed up halfway through.

Nice idea i tried bypassing the regular way and it didnt work! Ill try this way but the thing is i cant sign in this way i do everything right but when i do a network test the second one from the top doesnt succed it keep loading and loading...Help Please!

Yer this is pretty much common knowlege now............

I knew how to do this in 2008 using Ps3 Proxy, when i couldnt bypass i used Ps3 Proxy, if your thinking ps3 proxy doesnt let bypass unlike Patch Blocker, then u dont know how to use it.

by the way, using Patch Blocker signs you out every 20seconds, when doing any leaderboard hack, your stats wont save.. e.g. doing Xp hack to level up, once you get signed out in game your stats wont save when you return to the lobby.

I will be making a tutorial for you all, with my secrete patch blocker hacks.

iS there anyway that someone could do the hack for me? I've been getting a lot of messages saying that they want to hack and make me 10th prestige lvl55 but I don't trust them...
