This game is probably my new favorite Call of Duty.

Only issue I have been experiencing is spectating when the game starts while others can play. Anyone know why it does that?

Wouldn't know. From what I've seen...typical COD. I'm a fan of the series, but the exo suit bull shittery is a major turn off for me.

Also the price. I don't play on the consoles anymore, so I don't expect to pay for the packaging. The fact that it's 60USD on PC is understandable, but it'll take forever for it to come down in price. We'll have 3-4 more CODs before the game gets to a reasonable price for what it is.


I know alot of the PC community is claiming this is the best PC COD since COD4, to which I'm sure there is no doubt, however only 28-30,000 people playing it online..not alot of players.

I hear that there is a play list that has exo suits banned, but it only has about 4 game modes in it. The PC version doesn't have dedicated servers for some reason, so it's P-2-P just like the consoles, which creates problems where hosts have advantage.


The graphics, from what I've seen are good. Better than past cods, naturally better on PC, so that's a plus. However, that said, there is alot of smoke and mirrors going on in a lot of places to make it seem like there are better textures than there really are.

Overall...I think it's a good game, and a breath of fresh air into this well beaten, well milked, cash cow. If it wasn't 60USD on PC, I'd probably buy it, however I'm holding off for a while. I want to see if the player base increases, or dies out just like past CODs on PC.

After playing the game since Friday, the exo-suit is the best thing, so much so, that whilst playing BO2, I had trouble stopping myself from jumping all the time . So used to the exo-jump, that normal jump feels sad. I've only played one game of multiplayer, hence why I'm only level 4. They need to do something about exo survival. There's no reasonable way, from my perspective, to reach level 11 or higher while playing legit. Wearing the heavy armor exo, I still get killed by two shanks. No matter what suit you wear, one shotgun round kills you. No matter where I go, there's always 3-4 enemies gangraping me. At least in spec ops, I could retreat and have time to plan a strategy, but this is way too difficult for me. Every lobby I join is full of worse players than me, so we end up dying by round 3-5, sometimes round 1. I don't want to have to use a glitch to survive for high rounds, (or the double-digit rounds), because it ruins the point of the gamemode, but they make it pretty difficult to do otherwise.

I love the exo-jump, exo-dash, exo-launcher, but like Cryptic said, the battery life is bullshit, even with that perk, Overcharged. And really? Two shields? One's real, the other's an exo-ability. I'm happy that they finally let us customize the characters and aren't being gendered unlike IW and Failarch. I haven't tried campaign yet, but I would love a campaign that allows for 2-4 players, kind of like MW3 did. Let's face it. Zombies is better than exo-survival, but the configurations and gameplay itself as a whole, does strike me as better than BO2 or BO. IMO. With that said, it's time for me to take a break from AW, and go back to Black Ops 1.

I'm guessing you're not getting the game free, because of VAC ban worries? I don't play PC, because (my PC is shit) I grew up on console.

Mostly not getting it on PC because we're adults on PC. COD is a console kids game. We have better shit to play than COD.

VAC Ban worries? I don't do anything to have to worry about getting VAC'd. :p

That said, I'll still probably end up with it, if they push the dedicated servers to PC like they are supposed to, but from the looks of it, that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon.

From what I've played so far it really has a COD MW feel to it. Especially in the campaign, which I really liked as well

This is on the basis of next gen - specifically Xbox One as this is my platform currently and that I think the game on older consoles is not that enjoyable due to the menu temporary freezing and bad quality. But for XB1 I am thoroughly enjoying the game and it's fast paced action and swift movements, they can get you out of situation very quickly and also get you in them if necessary.

On Ghosts I was not bad at the game but at the same time found it very boring and repetitive playing for more than an hour, and although playing COD is repetitive I will happily play it hours on end and feel accomplished with every kill. But I am not giving a final verdict yet as I had the same feeling with BO2 until they released a patch around Sunday of the release week which for some reason put me off playing the game competitively, probably just nerfs that ruined my gameplay style...

Well, judging from my first game playing, it's quite a good experience considering I don't play much COD anymore since Ghosts. But I have to say the Exo-Suit and it's features came off as better than I thought it would be.

They fucked up the connection. We all have full signal or 3 lines, then drop to 1, get up to 4, constantly. At least in South America. They didn't fixed shit since Ghosts. I don't know why they didn't stick to the Matchmaking System of Black Ops 2 or MW3.
