Personally I like the Gun rank because it is easier to get. If it was headshot's- to many boosters and if it was money like black ops- people would complain.

the way Black Ops did it was actually pretty good, get prestige 14 or 15 i think and then buy it; that was actually a good idea to get people to prestige

Yeah but not everyone can play for that long. To get to 14th or 15th is long. People might not have as much free time and then when they finally get there they have to spend 50,000 points.

yea it sucked you had to wait till prestige 14 and earn 50k
but it wasn't that bad! But the MW3 way i have to say i
did like more! Now im usually the guy who prestiges all the
way to max usually ten but lately 15 and i don't really care
how you get the gold guns as long as they are in there :]
But in MW3 it was so anyone can get gold guns! all you
have to do is play alot! so it depends how you look at it!

I would say Gun Rank, Maybe if doing some objectives will kinda increase getting a Gold Gun.

I think if they do the gun ranking system it should be a combo of gun rank and buying it.. no certain level that takes too long.

gun ranks is a good idea but personally I like the idea of the exclusiveness of only getting gold guns at a high prestige.
it stops those people who just stay at 0 prestige and unlock everything.
at least it gives prestiging an incentive (like the coloured clan tag in black ops)

as for gun rank that was a hell of a lot better than headshots, but seriously level 30-31 takes the piss.

In my opinion golden guns were too easy to get in MW3, all you need to do is play much with the gun and you get it, there is no skill required.

I think they should be more special, there should be hard challenges to unlock them. (not challenges which are unlocked when you just play much)
