(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); From what ive heard black ops 2 will be using a different call of duty elite system and you can already pre order it at gamestop and as usual you get some benifits from pre ordering but once black ops 2 is released people will have to start all over on clan levels.

Yes it's true that there will be a new version of elite, elite 2.0 and there are some features which are mentioned and by the looks of it, it will be a lot bigger and better than the first version.
Clans have a bigger influence in elite 2.0 with such things such as tournaments etc.
