(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, so I just wanted to post a thread regarding my opinion and views on Black Ops 2, figured you guys could also discuss how you felt about the game and share your opinion on it here too, I wanted to know what the general vibe for this game is

Anyways, I'm about to create a wall of text, so be warned if you can't be screwed reading, stop right here and go down to the TLR version!

Black Ops 2 Gameplay:

I feel the gameplay has vastly been improved since then last Call of Duty this being Modern Warefare 3 which as everyeone I'm quite sure can tell, is a blatant copy and paste of it's predecessor, but this Call of Duty feels like it's going in a new direction, slowly beridding itself of it's Camp and Gun style and much more of a Tactical style of gameplay, where you must be percise and not rely on Killstreaks anymore.

I like how they've incorperated and expanded upon MW3's Point Streak system, they seem to have made it much more friendly to the players, alowing specifically for a bar to fill up and gain the streak with each assist and point they manage to get, so it's not just all about kills now! Along with that I like how they factor in some new attachments into the game, such as the Xray Scope, which allows you to see enemies behind walls, this should also (I hope) eliminate camping! And to add an perfection of chocolate dipped strawberry topping to this already quite wonderful cake, they've added a new feature to the Ghost perk, if your standing still and camping, the UAV will pick you up! That is beautiful music to my ears!

In conclusion to the gameplay aspect of the game, I feel their taking a turn for the best, especially for the hardcore crowd in mind, they're listening and giving us what we want so far

Black Ops 2 Features:

Now I've heard some beautiful things from Gamescom lately and I'm seriously excited about these features, now that I've hyped you up (I hope) here is what's new in the game's features:

-CodCasting; It's a new system that allows you to stream live gameplay with out the hassle and bother of buying a PVR, what this allows if your members of the public to cast your game in a live stream and commentate over it, allowing them to show each and every member of the game, their KD ratio's, information, options and some other amazing goodies! I'm immensly excited about this, and I've also heard their going to allow you to commentate over your own game in a cast!

Multiteam Modes; Now this is something I've been waiting for, for a very long time! Multi-Team modes and now in allowing you to play some of your favourites such as SnD and TDM with your team, competing against other teams of 4-6 players, with an 18 player total! Now this is going to bring a new aspect into Call of Duty, no longer is a Team versus Team, it's tactical, it's hardcore and it's going to be tough!

The new "Pick 10" system; Now this is just amazing, Treyarch has gone ahead and removed that whole crappy Create a class system, and now they've incorperated a "Pick 10" system, this allows you to strip you player of the necessities you know you don't need and want and incorperate other things such as wildcards, perks and other weapons of your choice! I can't go too indepth as I haven't researched it, but it seems like a good step in the right direction!

Switch Fire Mode; Now this is one for the pro's, if you love accuracy and getting a good shot on target, this attachment is for you, it allows you to switch fire modes for the gun from Auto, Burst or Semi-Auto, allowing you to get pin point accuracy on your targets where ever they may be!

Zombies Versus!; This is something I cannot wait for, we haven't heard much about zombies as of late, but from what I can tell, this seems like a great idea, to allow a versus mode in the zombie gameplay elements will provide a more competitive aspect to the game mode, before it was all about survival and doing so for as long as possible, with this in play, people will actually try to play to win, and survive for as long as possible!

Again, in conclusion these are the main features I am interested in, if you guys know of any other feel free to discuss it in your posts, I'll even add ones that I forgot about into this post if I like them! :3

Black Ops 2 Graphics and Art Direction:


Now I am really liking the art direction this game is going on, so far it feels quite natural and much more vivid then it's previous game, it looks much more fun to play on and I believe they're created a few graphical enhacements to put into the game, but overalll theres not much that this doesn't offer that they original Modern Warefare didn't, it's basically the same but slighty better

Overall Conclusion (TLR Version): Basically, this Call of Duty seems like it's going to be the best yet, they're actually eliminating camping, providing new and improved Killstreaks and a Point streak system, incorperating much loved and needed features for the E-Sports community and along with that, they're also allowing LIVE STREAMING WITHOUT EQUIPMENT, I mean.. what more could you ask for? I'd say this all appeals to me very much, and the map design seems much better than what Call of Duty MW3 is, hell they even said they're going to use BO's map design!

Guys, yes I know this was a massive thread, but I hope you guys througly read this as I put a lot of time and thought into it, I want you guys to now express your opinion here, and tell me how you feel about the game, if your going to purchase it and also vote on my poll!

Treyarch said they was going to look at each part of the game and break down what people like and don't.
So far to me the formula looks the same super fast killing guns. Low recoil and the same style of map design loads of lines of sight on one area.
Ghost / camper idea is not going to work if you want to fix UAV spam and ghost.

Nerf the radar so it not 100% accurate and does not show your exact location. That why i use ghost or any other perk.
Stealth / camping is the best route because of how fast you die and the map design.
Making your guns killing super fast and allowing people to camp traffic routes is just stupid.

One major change is how they are looking at weapon balancing , you have to give something else up to change how the gun works.
Knifing having no lunge at long last. I would liked to have a 2 hit kill knife but that me.
Most of the e sport stuff is pointless until COD has any sort of skill competitive COD just shows you how easy it is to die. Also the best way to play the game.
Do like the new matchmaking idea......that should save me from running into parties
Have alot of question the wildcard idea and how you unlock them.

Art style change is nice too it brighter and has more colours ^_^

I very much like that new matchmaking idea, finally I can play with some good players!

Question: Did they seem easier to get or harder to get than normal killstreaks?

Answer: If you play the objective, easier. If you don't, harder. Overall: balanced. Seems to really stimulate doing the objective.

MW3 sold me before it was released but it still sucked, just hoping this one doesn't.

If people say its worth buying after release, then ill consider buying it.

This is quite the hyperbole. Game looks good based off what ee see HOWEVER all that doesn't matter once people start abusing things.

Most COD games are good at face value until the community gets hold of it. There is nothing illegal or immoral about camping so why would they eliminate it? I prefer to be aggressive and if you play in parties there tends to be less camping allowed. I look at campers being allowed to camp as a bigger issue than the game itself.

Every play style needs to be allowed. My idea of rushing is moving around map, using cover when needed, drop shots. Thatvis good rushing. Most COD players who rush aren't very good at it.

You should never rush 100% of the time. Fast pace gameplay like Sandy Ravage I enjoy. Fast paced, clusterfuck scrub rushing like EL Pres is what most of you want. We all despise camping. Good players know how to deal with it. Bad players make threads about it or try to force devs to make the game easier.

Besides less camping is just going to lead to more "op weapons" or "try hard" complaints.

COD community is littered with these crybabies using UAV every two points who feel that everyone should use weak guns and be on their radar just so thwy can compete.
