Firstly we know nuketown will be released as a zombie map for care package and hardened edition buyers. I think this is more a promotion than linked to the proper storyline but i maybe wrong and it will be interesting to see what it will be like on release.

Shangri La Mountains:

There are rumors of shangri la returning but in the mountains so it will won't be the same as the current black ops map. If you do look in the loading screen for shangri la you can clearly see mountains in the distance so possible for this. Im not sure on how this links to the story but there was a tweet to the makers of the zombies saying about shangri la mountains. You must login or register to view this content.

We all know the earth was hit by 3 rockets from the moon by Dr Maxis and the 4 hero's. And Sam is in Edward's body so it is possible they will split as they will likely be fighting against eachother as Edward now controls the zombie's.

I think the hero's will travel to another known 935 lab and discover more on Edward's research and could really open up the story

Shangri La is already in the Mountains :dumb: and we know nothing about zombies, no one does other than people inside of Treyarch and Activision!

I think it will be a completely new storyline, the characters may possibly return, but they'll get up to other things, sam and all the other characters will be history IMO

Well the problem is that the story isn't what i call finished as we were left off earth is blown up partly and edward completes his plan

His plan's completed, only thing left they can do is to stop his plan continuing, stopping him instead of sam this time, maybe she'll be a character, they did mention not all characters are male now

I agree here but remember that Richtofen and Sam switched bodies so Sam can help the others reverse the plan maybe?

yeah, good point, I do hope we can play as sam, would be pretty cool, the first map may well be another version of moon, this time they're making their way back to earth? could take place on a rocket or something :O

Possible of revisitting some group 935 places but in different area's like the shangri la mountains for example which is a possible map shown in the tweets above but maybe storyline and not a map

i think there is enough plot for them to keep it going in black ops 2 and i think we will really find out the real story with zombie camp confirmed i think zombies is being taken to the next level i just hope it's good : D

what's more to know though? we know how the zombies were created, they should move on! :\

I wouldn't mind them going backwards through the story to stop Richtofen from having the plan but that would just get boring I think But I will love to see them going back to some of the old maps and doing new things maybe!
