(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I know we all like to rant, blame others and call people who oppose us "kids, virgins" or a racial slur. This thread gives 5 tips to reduce effectiveness of camping as well as a few things that are erroneously categorized as camping. P.S. if you mostly used portable radars or Support killstreaks you deserve camper deaths :carling: And I know good players know these things but most players arent good. When a team gets multiple MOABs a game, iy isn't from camping but how terrible the opposition is.

1. Play in parties. I can't state this enough. I played solo the other night. My team full of new guys and splitscreen parties. If you must play alone try to avoid splitscreen teammates. Most COD players are bad so unless you're playing a clan, expect bad players. You may get high scores but more losses. It's going to be harder to combat camping if you have a team full of randoms ill-equipped to deal with the punk ass dude in a corner. Team allows you to communicate and you may have camper teammates who know how to weed out spots because they camp there lol.

2. Become a GOOD rusher. People have this notion that rushing automatically makes you good. There is a difference between El Presador and say TheMarkofJ
One guy slow reflexes, hip fires across map and has narrow vision and the other is J. El Pres is funny as hell though. Use flash bangs, stuns, and FLANK. Most rooms in COD have multiple routes. Don't combat a guy aiming down his sights a mile away with a shotgun. Good, alert rushing helps
Running around, pressing buttons is what most do. COD has MILLIONS of players. So expecting everyone to play the way you want aka most advantageous is silly. Expect a guy to be hiding prone in a room. Especially the way UAV and perks aid campers as much as rushers. Pay attention to the map and not just a HUD. Get a headset, learn spawn points and how to spawn trap/avoid getting trapped.

3. Be patient and adjust. Switch to Assassin/Ghost to sneak up on motion sensor campers and the underrated amount of guys who use UAV to help them camp
In MW3 the most underrated perk is Recon Pro. Assassin can't block it and I swear of more people used it, it would be "OP". It was a great way to deal with campers on MW3. Use the right gun and perks on right conditions. Quit trying to use a shotgun on big maps if guys are aiming down the sight across map. Adjust instead of helping them camp. Campers pray on the hot heads who will die 10 times just to kill a guy once. Killing a guy hiding is rewarding but try not to give up a Chopper in the process. The better player you are, easier to deal with campers. If you're quicl scoping no matter how good you are at it...It isn't a way to stop camping. Adjust your strategy to force the camper to rage quit, then return to 360 scopes.

4. Communicate. Shout out camp spots. Also big killstreaks like Blackbirds, Choppers, Dogs, etc tend to weed out campers. They are distracted by air support and easier to rush against.

5. Try Ground War...Regular tdm, free for all in particular seems to be where bad players and camping happens the most. Not saying GW doesn't have campers but it tends to be more fast paced. Hardcore and Search modes are more strategic so honestly camping is the smarter thing to do. Avoid those modes if you are a rusher unless you have a team of course.

If a guy is hiding in building while air support is up or while your team is destroying him, he ism really bad for hiding. The guys trying to camp flags while down 100 points in domination while air support and dogs are out are amusing to me though. As well as the guys "brave" enough to spawn IN but run OUT.
When you are going Sandy Ravage on a team, you can't expect them to keep getting abused easily although they usually do and actually stay in the lobby for more ass beating.

Be careful throwing flash bangs and shooting. People can be perceptive and sound whore. It's easier to know a guy is coming if he is spraying

If a guy goes 50-3 or something and you have a team full of negative scores, chances are bad teammates ate to blame more than campers. Playing in a party and against splitscreens will automatically increase your scores and ability to avoid campers. Why do you think clans run from other clans? Most good COD players destroy bad players. COD has more bad players than good. Play with a party five games and solo five games and I guarantee you the biggest change will be the skill level. Hard to camp effectively against a team vs random people playing and those terrible splitscreen guys.

Nice tips usually when I play solo it gets really frustrating for me. I don't find campers too much of a problem unless multiple enemies are sitting on their flag with their portable radars. I run Specialist most of the time so I'm hidden from air support Uavs etc.

Most of the time I don't blame the split screeners its the other people who don't help you when you need it most. If there is air support in the air they don't shoot it down they carry on running out their own spawn. So I'm always the one that has to switch my Stinger class to help my team out.

Another thing I hate most is I'm usually pushing into the enemy spawn but all of my teamates are nowhere to be seen. So I find the best thing I can do sit back and let them come to you unless you got decent rushers on your team. When I'm with bad teamates that don't play the objective but still go negative we get spawn trapped. If your playing against a team that has good knowledge of the spawns chances are your not going to get out your spawn.

Assassin/Ghost/ Cold Blooded will be a must for at least the first month. People are going to be spamming UAV's and motion sensor or whatever helps you locate players.

Players are going to "camp" because most are not going to be fimilar with the maps. Best thing to do is not be over aggresive and watch corners.

Most campers i saw in mw3 did at least 1 prestige, so they are familar with the maps. I guess 50% of campers are some lil kids who want to get high kills to be " cool" on the schoolyard. The other 50% just got no skills.

I never understand how u can be a camper, u sit in a corner n get kills, thats really boring, takes no skills and u ruin the game for legit players. They should make something likebyou automatically die if u dont move for 10 seconds

It is really boring and don't understand why people do it. There is campers that hide in a corner and will kill you. If you go back for them they probably in the other corner waiting. It sucks when you have people like that. They the ones that usually goes 4-1 or 8-2. Always small amount of kills because they are scared to run out.

Players like that rarely have success unless the opposition is atrocious. Being aggressive is the most rewarding way to play. If running around with an SMG will get 30+ kills and the win or spawn trapping picking people off. Being timid is the issue. There is no need to try to force people ro rush. Camping isn't illegal. I am aggressive because I like kills and to win.

Camping is an annoying tactic that people overstate. No one sitting in a corner all game is getting 30+ kills. It doesn't happen
People act as if a guy that gets 50+ games ia a camper. Which is almost like accusing every successful girl as a whore lol.

No legit camper does well against good players. I find them the easiet to kil and they usually have slow reflexes. Bad players are more prevalent in COD than campers. Guys who go 5-28 will accuse people of camping. COD players have this notion that going 6-28 is okay if you rush. A lot of campers could be avoided if people rushed effectively vs running around pressing buttons. People whore out the word camper. Defending a flag in a close game of Domination is at times considered camping. There is a fine line between good rushers and guys literally running around spraying and getting half their kills by spawning behind people.

The guys who spot and eliminate campers win. The guys who complain yet refuse to adjust
Campers exist sure but they generally only affect bad players

Sadly in COD world stats literally mean nothing and if someone is bad it is only because they arent a kid or have a life lmao

Exactly. Then when you rape them they will say how overpowered a gun is. Online gaming is fully of excuses. If you rush then you're a racial slur or have no life. Because we all know COD is such a hard game and you can't maintain a life and be good at it. As long as you have a strategy while playing, COD is easy.
