No but if your playing online, there is a chance it will be reset on release date, i was asking a 3arc representative about it and they said that its most probable that the day before release there will be a leaderboard reset.

No, the servers just came up yesterday and I seen optic playing with 3arc I doubt they will do a a leader board reset :/
Would be nice giving everyone the same chance though

servers aren't available.. same as in black ops 1. If I use another account it works again, for around 5 mins.

If you got a physical copy of the game then you shouldn't expect to be banned. You'll only get banned if you are caught trying to mod the game (xp lobbies aim bots what not). If you're still worried about playing online, just don't go onto multiplayer until release day and play through the campaign mode.

Matchmaking services are enabled. All other services are undergoing continued maintenance in preparation for launch (Films, Emblem Editor, CODTV, Leaderboards, Recent Games, etc). Occasional disconnects should be expected.
