Your not the only one and I don't think there's a fix atm.

Some of the people on my friends list can still play and when I join their party they can't start it unless I leave wtf. (Idk where they live)

Philly. 3/4 friends from my school that play Black ops all have the same problem as me. The one friend can actually play normally. That's what I don't get is causing the problem

yeah that kinda sucks, just a random thought, have you ever boasted/xp lobby in any other COD game on the same account your wanting to play BO2 on?

If you've boosted/Been in XP Lobby on that account, try it with an account that hasn't been boosted/xp lobby... I just logged into a old account and it worked perfect, still working now in fact.
