He's not the best with technology at all so changing things like the ip adress would be extremely unlikely :/


is there anyway to get his nat type to moderate or open?

Try the MW2 trick, load mw2, go to m/player,find an online game, as soon as game loads eject disc.
Load bops 2 and try.

Network settings > manual configuration > set IP address for your ps3....at this point you have to log on your router/modem via the computer and get the DNS numbers as well as put your new ps3 IP in DMZ mode

with wireless connection i always got moderate even with this and with wired connection i always get open NAT in DMZ mode


if all that is really too much tho, id try to mw2 trick as well. its taken me from strict to moderate in the past
