I find SMG's are good close range and for ONCE since cod4, LMG's are good long range. So for some reason i can't find much use for assault rifles. Shotguns are shit apart from the 1st pump action one and i've never been a sniper.

Overall thuough, i'm loving the LMG's.

Assault rifles -Shit
SMG's - Quality
LMG's - Finally Decent!
Shotguns - Unusable
Snipers- Decent if you can use it right

SIMPLE

Assault Rifles- most versatile, options are disappointing in this game however. Only ones worth using are the M27, SCAR, and my favorite, the M8A1 with select fire.

SMGs- some are borderline OP (MP7 again), some are stupid (Chicom CQB) My favorite is the Skorpion EVO.

LMGs- for noobs. QBB is solid.

Shotguns- 870 is good, pointless on anything buy Nuketown

Sniper- GREAT! So much better than BO1, my favorites are the 50 cals, but the Ballista is good too.
