I'm disappointed in Activision. Every year we get a COD game and they still can't seem to get shit right on release day or weeks following up. The connections are always horrible and the sounds seem to be fucked up as well. Sure there's a big traffic of people trying to hop on the game at the same time but they should be beyond prepared to handle the situation at this point. As of now the connections are still retarded, unless your host, your honestly not going to be playing a fare match. You will shoot at enemies and get killed first, you watch the killcam and it shows you running at them like Forrest Gump. The sounds are messed up. I get shot at and don't hear anything, sometimes they even sound like silenced weapons and the footsteps are honestly barely audible, unless equipped with dead silence. The game is good but that's whats ruining it for me and I'm sure a lot of other players. Zombies, in all honesty, is the only thing that's keeping me playing. As of today I'm done with multiplayer until there is some sort of fix to atleast the lag.
Anything I missed or something someone wants to bring up?
We still don't know the reason behind the downtime.
It could be something complex due to changing how the game works. Yes they have done that between MW3 to black ops 1.
One thing is for sure some people don't know how to setup networks still so may be feeding into the lag issues. Matchmaking is running better compared to BO1/MW3. No more german players ftw!!!
Btw the killcam is not proof of lag. You can see it already in game without the use of killcams.
Footsteps are worthless this game again.
What intersting in terms of matchmaking is how League play runs a different matchmaking code compared to normal play lists. It more harsh in terms of searching for pings. < result it runs better.
Some of my problems are due to my setup the router is rubbish < fixing that.
Wireless does not help.
Also it a big release problems are going to happen sadly.
