I get it sometimes, did you try switching the matchmaking to BEST? You do this by pressing Square while searching for a playlist to play. It really helps!

In actuality the game is pretty stupid. You get matched with the region your PSN is made on. Mine is a JP PSN (Japanese) but I'm in the UK. So my IP shows I'm in UK playing in UK, but my geographical region is JP, hence I get matched with people in Asia and Middle East. Lags so bad in BO1, the idiotic search preference was a fail in that game, LOCAL ONLY, meant look for gamers in Japan. A smart thing would be to look for games local to your IP, and not your PSN. So I was left to make a UK account to get better match making.

And yes I said BO1, when I hit select on options to check my system stats in BO1 and BO2 both show my IP as UK, but geographical region is JP. And since I can't get online on BO2, I can assume the search preference in BO2 would be like BO1, it'll only search for games around your geographical region and not around your IP location.

Anyways that's my rant about the stupid search preference. MW3 had better matchmaking, but it killed itself by adding Lag Compensation. MW2 had the best matchmaking but died with online hackers.

I notice no lag for the past few days. Where you live at,maybe you connect close to some foreign servers?

I live in the midlands UK about as far away as you can get from foreign servers in the uk. Problem is on day one and two I was being matched with people from my home town! Now I don't even know what language people are speaking =[

Ofcourse the first day you could play well, the server was empty....
No they havent fixed the servers and probably never will for BO2.... And MW3 server is 25 times better than treyarch servers...
Im totally disappointed with this Beta release....Full of bugs, I found nearly 10 bugs in one week.
Bad servers, overloaded servers, game changed to italian lenguage by itself, I can keep on and on...
