Post: Beast Class?
12-08-2012, 02:55 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've been looking around for a good decent class that can get me consistent good games. I tried AR's, SMG's and LMG's and I came across the FAL and it seemed to be a good class, I kept using it game after game. I got it to about level 14 which means I had select fire. I swear to god , FAL with Select Fire is just beast! I'm currently using the FAL with Grip, Red Dot and Select Fire, it seems to be the only gun I can use and get consistent good scores.

Anyone else have any experience with the FAL that could recommend any more good set-ups for it?

Select fire and stock Winky Winky
Speaking of which I always use stock on ARs. Too good to pass that up.

I used the FAL for a while, I put select fire on when I unlocked it and it was good in CQ's. When I prestiged it I couldn't be bothered with it so I started using the Scar-H, at first it wasn't that great but after I got a few attachments for it I found it to be great.

I used fore-grip and silencer and the perks were Ghost and Flack Jacket, Scavenger and Tactical Mask. My scorestreaks were Lightning strike, AGR and Warthog.

I did ok with this set up.

AN 94 stock/ Clip / Grip is good Winky Winky
All the ARs are good you can make all of the ARs work if you play the maps right.
Same deal with LMGs/SMGs and shotguns.
Just need to bring the battle to your own terms :p

Target finder on the FAL is good but I don't like the target finder.

FAL with select fire and laser sight. Very good for cqc. Perks are whatever you want, but I prefer stuff like flak jacket, hardline, tac mask, and dexterity because these are the most helpful perks for me.

Cake is a lie
My best weapon stats and second most kills are with gold FAL so let me elaborate.

I have a decent trigger finger from using Python on BO and MK14 from MW3 so unless you just have arthritis in your fingers you don't new select fire. The only marginal benefit it had over semi auto is in close quarter combat. The full auto version is popular but sort of defeats purpose of semi auto which is high damage, a fire rate you control and manageable accuracy. I tried full auto and it didn't shoot any faster than I could. It starts up slower actually in auto.

Class Setup:

FAL with Reflex Site with 3rd or 5th reticule. Extended Mags, FMJ or Quickdraw as 2nd attachment.
B2R secondary(optional)

Grip would be an absolute waste. It would basically be like putting kick on ACR from MW3. Target Finder works well obviously but I hate that attachment like a Death Streak...
Silencer works well but I prefer without.

Perks are your choice really but Lightweight, Toughness and even Marathon would be unnecessary on this class. Flak Jacket, and Dexterity are best suited.
C4 or Bouncing Betty.

Save Point
PDW - Laser Sight/Quickdraw/Foregrip
PDW - Laser Sight/Quickdraw/Supressor
PDW - Quickdraw/Supressor/Foregrip
PDW - Quickdraw/ Foregrip / Long Barrel

AN94 - Quickdraw/Foregrip/Supressor
AN94 - Quickdraw/Foregrip/Stock
AN94 - Quickdraw/Foregrip/Laser Sight

Ghost - You dont see me on the map
Toughness - No flinch is crucial
Dexterity + Tactical Mask - My gun comes up faster than yours, shock grenades/concussions are fucking annoying.

14 sensitivity...is a must.

If you really want to be a ghost on the map use the supressor.
Kill someone than take good position, with the supressor they'll never know where you are. Good players will look for enemies around their team mates skulls, but so long as you position you're self in anticipation of a 'good player' you should be fine.
The time it takes for 'good players' too notice you after you kill an enemy using a suppressor is alot longer than it would take had you not used a supressor. Always be aware of the map where your team mates are and what's happening on the kill feed so as too know where to expect enemies too come from.
Bad players are oblivious too their team mates skull and many times players are just unaware of the skulls because they are preoccupied with the game. Shoot these players in the back of their heads.

Some people don't like using the suppressor due its effect on range and damage, that's fine just be aware you're popping up on the map and anticipate retaliation if you're not using a suppressor.

Of course these thoughts are based solely on a rushing and an aggressive sort of gameplay, the kind that I indulge in. Not the camping ass, throw down a betty or clay more and wait for enemies sort of gameplay others use.
