I'd wouldn't unlock it. Pretty much useless perk. But I would definitely keep at least 5 tokens just in case something gets buffed overtime.

Unless they buff it up in a later patch it is definitely NOT worth getting. It pretty much does nothing to the sound so it's just like playing without the perk. I tried it in Combat training with my turtle beaches on and I could still barely hear the guy running right behind me.

Depends on what you don't have unlocked. I'd unlock it before the executioner pistol at least. It technically does make the sounds louder BUT basically it is how the sound should be by default without sound perks. You'd only notice it on Turbine, Drone, and maybe Hijacked and even then you'd need Dead Silence for it to be half worth it.

Play SnD with a headset with supercrunch setting yes
But you still need to learn the background noises and footstep sounds. It's not worth using outside of SnD and if you are unwilling to play around with the settings.
Not worth a point not sure on what it does if it only direction or noise increase or both.

It's only worth it in S&. I've only used it a few times when I originally got to level 50, but it did work for me back then and I liked it, but only in S&.
