In order to complete the challenge get one hits with M1216 or S12 you need to play touch football.
You need to get close and touch the person to get a one hit kill , give that bad guy a hug before you slaughter his poor soul.
Get so close you can smell his camping soul or a serious anal encounter.

But all seriousness the one hit kill range of these guns is tiny and given how COD plays it this challenge playing my patience.
Being a little bit impatient does not help god knows how I got to 228 on the M1216. S12 was completed but some rage was had.
Why the hell does the challenges have to be done in order ? It makes no sense to me!!

Overall shotguns this game sucks as per normal with call of duty. Limited range but we have got a little bit better damage model. They do get a nice ADS bonus which is a first off Treyarch. However they do suffer due to the drop shot nerf which means certain ones cough KSG 12 can be impossible to use.
Shotguns force a playstyle on you if you are unwilling to play it you are screwed.
If you are a novice keep away , if you want to gimp yourself for a bit try a shotgun.

Honestly i dont know why but for me the s12 has always been a one hit or 2 hit kill IDK WHY! but that too without long barrel so i have tarted using the s12 even more now knowing that its so efficent but that me only.

The s12 is one fun gun to use but hard to get one shot kills in my opinion!

The shotguns have never felt overpowered to me just annoying. I'd be perfectly fine with a guy getting 5+ straight kills just on a rampage. Problem is it's usually some guy who'll get 2-3 kills tops before an enemy out of his 5 foot radius comes along and takes him out or he gets a random hit marker. It's like dying to a knife only guy to me. The other issue is shotgun deaths feel like BS. It always makes it look like you emptied a clip before the shotgun guy even thought to shoot.

Also when you're using a shotgun there are places on a map you just can't go. If your radius is as low as shotguns are then anyone outside of that shitty range is like a camper. I know on Seatown on MW3 when someone was using prepatch Striker, I immediately tried to stay out of close engagements near corners. If anything maybe using Overkill could help on bigger maps ir just hope to find weapon on ground so you have medium-long range weapon.

I trolled around with the M216 Silenced in combat training. Never again.......
