If you have over a 1000 messages delete them but not really that much laggy after lastest update

my ps3 does freeze... but not to the extent yours does. Maybe once every 5 hours on a bad day... did you make sure your air vents are clean? good airflow around the system...?

Try to clean it out, and unplug everything and keep it unplugged when you go to bed, letting it all cool down.

My PS3 freezes, I have a PS3 Slim 160GB, had it for about 2-3 years, just started freezing like 1-2 months ago, im gonna delete my messages.. I wish their was a message cleaner for the PS3, cuz i have so much messages.. :l

I have one of the newer models (320gb), randomly freezes when playing.
Actually just froze editing a gameplay video o_o
