Post: How can i make my nat type open?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey sorry if this has been answered somewhere else but i couldn't find a tut anywhere that worked for me.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me or link me to something giving me some help changing my nat type from strict to open as im struggling to find games, thanks.
Specifically black ops 2 on the PS3 with a BT homehub

have you tried putting black ops 1 in ur ps3 to fix the strict nat type? it usually fixes the problem for me

You have to change some adjudments on your router

go to google and google your ip

then log onto you ip and find were it says dmz host and put your ps3 ip then hit save and apply then it should be open

Ditch homehub it a sod to setup for gaming and ISP supplied routers often are crap.
From what I know it a pain to port forward on the homehub sometimes it does it own thing.

Or do the correct thing
Using windows run cmd enter ipconfig the IP you want is the gateway (router)
DMZ also sometimes causes issues you can do the same effect by using port forwarding or UPnP

Google your IP brings up your external IP address.
