Start all games? or just Black ops 2? most freezing on PS3 is due to PS3 health, it could need recompounded on the GPU + RSX or a good clean, usually dust and shit can start giving your PS3 hard freezing problems as well as overheating issues.

DO NOT create a emblem, go to barracks or highlight a player in the lobby or watch his playercard. Just keep Create a class highlighted. This worked for me. Tell me if it worked please.

Have you got Hdd Textures Installed? It really helped me!
My ps3 froze a few times a day before I installed Textured to Hdd and After maybe 2 times in a week or 3.
