It is all about the W/L ratio. Play Objective.
Fuck all Killstreaks, they should get removed! All i see is Killstreak Campers, and only like 1-2% are objective!

While I agree that W/L is more important than K/D. You realize that the most competitive teams have slayers who's primary objective is to rack up killstreaks and use them in order to secure objectives. I would have to say 1-2% objective is way less than accurate it is more like a 50/50

wouldn't say that, all the people i play with or the most camp for their killstreaks.
i have nothing against killstreaks but why try and get dogs when it takes up to 3mins for a guy to get them while he could easily get a domination flag to help the rest of the team?

i for myself play as objective as possible , and i can get killstreaks doin this.
It is just disapointing if i still loose the game if i capture 5Hqs and the rest of my team got none.

I really couldn't tell what exactly you wanted an opinion on, but I think I get the gist of it. I play FFA and Demolition. Given that my clan is ranked #1 in Win/Loss ratio on Xbox (For the heavyweight tier clans), I strongly urge the importance of winning whenever I'm in a party.

Whenever I play solo, I only go into FFA so I only have myself to blame for a loss (Top 3 get wins anyway). Before BO2, I played solo in playlists such as Mercenary TDM and Mercenary Moshpit. Through experience, I can empathize with you when you say that the condition of players is abysmal, as is their drive to win.

However, I do miss the times I was ignorant about Win/Loss. Now that I notice it, I can't help but obsess about it.

In contrast to what you've stated, I don't believe that it should "all" be about W/L ratio. I've met people who have high W/L ratios only because they play with great players. While in reality, they're ass at the game and can't hold their own.

I believe emphasis should be placed on both W/L and K/D, perhaps even SPM. But yes, I agree - and urge - that the win should take priority over K/D; at least when you're in team-based playlists.

Also, I'll mention that I would take someone who sits back, but gets killstreaks for the team, over someone who blindly and fruitlessly rushes the objective, feeding the opposing team with killstreak rewards. However, a team completely of slayers is bound to fail; there should be at least 4 other strong objective players.

All I play are either KC, SnD, or FFA.. I stay away from TDM, Domination, Ground War and etc so I can be selfish and rack up my killstreaks, etc..

Win or lose, I try to be the top player each game so that way the blame isn't on me for fucking up lol

Increase the area which you can cap the flags in team games. Decrease the areas which you can die from.
Increase the TTK so moving does not kill you. Etc

The community has worked out how to play the game (hardcore players).

Removing killstreaks won't fix the problem you need to rebalance the game as a whole.

I play mostly Kill Confirmed and FFA because I don't care for objective based games much, especially when I don't have a full group of friends to play with.

Unless it's TDM, then you're screwed. If you go like 5-20 or some shit, your team is down a lot of points because of your KD. In other games, K/D isn't real important.

To me, however, K/D, W/L, SPM, etc. don't matter, but I don't play competitively in a clan or anything so....

I am normally constructive and kind but what the actual fuck are you talking about?

Everyone I play with knows that the more objective you are the easier your streaks come. We're triple capping and each battling over tags all game long to get our streaks faster and coincidentally making us win way more. We're willing to go 10-20 to get a win but we know someone else on our team will be 30-5 watching our back.

A killwhore is your best friend in BO2. The're the guys clearing objectives with Swarms, Lodestars, dogs making you better with VSATs and creating tags for you to collect.

2nd, off, Ghost has been nerfed, SMGs, Shotguns, pistols and hip firing are SUPER powerful on this game. Every camp spot has more than one flank and VSAT shows you everyone so if you're dying by campers all game look in the mirror. I'd suggest stop playing solo. Playing solo isn's pitting you with "killwhores" rather pitting you with noobs too stupid to capture/defend objectives or too busy trying to quick scope, or use Assault shields...



THANK YOU!!!! It always amazes me how the 30-5 is why the team lost but the 5-30 guy quick scoping gets zero blame.

Most of these "only wins matter" don't even win very much. I personally will do what it takes to win. Black Ops 2 is good because the more objective and aggressive your are the more score and the more score means quicker streaks which means easier win. It's the shitty players stealing tags to get Hunter Killers instead of the "killwhore" using his tags to earn VSATs.
