My friend has the same problem, can someone help us with this problem? When the game starts up the loading screen comes then it freezes and he needs to restart his PS3. Can someone help?

its the game its shit it does it on my ps3 everytime i play so now i dont bother best thing to do is sell the game

If you are playing online and it freezes when the game starts then dont go to barracks or create an emblem or highlight or look at someones playercard/emblem before starting. just keep Create a class or anything like that selected and it wont freeze, on the zombies i dont know i dont have it but my friend has. He needs some help because he bought the game for zombies xD

Its something wrong with the disc! I have read if you turn your PS3 upside down while the disc is in and running, it can damage the disc. If you never did anything like that it's probably scratches. You can try to clean it, that might work. My old Black Ops 1 copy couldn't play grid,jungle,nuketown, or summit it would freeze about half way through loading. After searching online, i returned my copy and got another. Every map worked fine from then on.

until now my ps3 just froze once when playing tranzit, but something that happens a lot to me is that when im playing solo (tranzit) the audio gets fucked up, its like an annoying helicopter noise...look it up on youtube and you will see what i mean

Delete all your messages. Vacuum your PS3 if there are any dust. Clean the disk for any smudges.
