Now sometimes it freezes when the game starts up( i dont even get to the main menu) and sometimes it freezes after i select multiplayer. But most of the time i get on to online and i can sit in the party for an hr and it is fine and same thing as when im in a match its fine. But everytime the match is over i automatically black screen. I can still hear everybody talking and things like that but the screen stays black. If i keep pressing the ps button it stays black. But if i dont do anything my ps3 freezes and i boot it and it does the corrupt data check thing. Can anyone give me idea that might stop this? Ive done everything, i buffed my game with disc skip. Ive done the safe mode 3/4 thing, downloaded the textures ive even done the dont highlight anyones name thing and cleaned my blu ray lense. ergh should i just quit trying?

Unfortunately its just the game and servers. Ive tried it all., you can try the following options as playing with them may work or may do nothing. Install textures. Change search preferences. Set up a static ip for your system. Port forward your router. Select a dmz. Add a primary and secondary dns like googles. Go wired instead of wireless if possible. Reset modem and router. Restore yor system completely or just try deleting the game data( may be corrupted). Make sure u back up anything you want to save. Be careful bc sensitive information can be lost or shared with this and the dmz. Jus look it up online for tutorials. You can call sony to walk you through the hard reset if you need. Or you can get a new disc. Either buy one or contact activision for a replacement. But dont get your hopes up bc none of this may work as patches and updates need to be madeto the game. Treyarch and activision are aware of these issues. Good luck

Idk, lately its been freezing lately every time the countdown goes to zero in a lobby...

You may want to try and delete the last patch and update as this was said to have been setup to correct these issue but has been rumored to cause them as well. You may have like i said before downloaded a currupt file or broken link. So try deleting and reinstalling game data. Patches and updated information linked to this game first. If that does not help you will have to look into the other options i listed. If you press and hold your power button on ps3 untill you hear a double or triple beep n release you will be prompted with a menu. Try these options like file restore/ data or whatever it is i think options 3&4. Option 5 restores ps3 to like factory out of the box use that as last option as this deletes EVERYTHING. One other thing i just remembered is just check in your xmb that system is reading disk smooth as well in system setting. Good luck again. Any questions or help pm me

Oh. And one last thing there is a glitch ppl have been trolling as well you may be doing on accident. Inbetween rounds and pre game i think dont quote me just search the forum or youtube bc its out there if you checking other players emblems or player cards maybe even yours. When game reloads or goes to start another round it freezes your game making nothing work for you but posibly your ps button and xmb menu. So be careful about this. Depends on your circumstances of the freeze.
