It started to act up after the patches so i quit playing it for a while. My friends nagged me to play again so i did i started to like it again but my game was fucking up constantly it wouldent start sometimes and id have to keep trying and trying to just get to the main menu. sometimes i would and i would play fine. Now! my game starts up most of the time but sometimes when i click multiplayer it freezes or if i get on after 1 match my ps3 freezes going to the menu. i tryed everything laser cleaning the texture thing everything. And today i had an idea. I went into a private match and messed a round i then ended the game. Guess what? My game didnt freeze. So in a shock i said hell yes and went online. Right after the match ended guess what? my game froze. Which only means that this is treyarch/activisions shitty servers that are causing all of our games to fucking freeze! I was almost ready to buy a new game thinking it was my disc! So if you have been experiencing this, dont buy a new game, dont clean your blu ray lense, dont install or delete the textures. Go back and get a refund on your game because its not our ps3s that are the problem its these fucking shit servers! AHHH!

I think there is something wrong with your PS3 that is causing with most of the freezes. The only freeze I get is maybe 1/100 games I get a random freeze....

do you have a good connection? i dont its like 50-60% and im wireless. plus most of the time my diamond camo doesent show and my sniper crosshairs when zoomed in dont show either. im gonna try wiring my connection and seeing if it works

This happened to me with BO1 . It only happened when I went online.. dont know why it happened then.. but turned out Blu Ray lens was broken.

Why do people complain and talk shit about *insert game here*.They aren't going to be looking at this thread , if you really want them to acknowledge your problem then get customer services or post on there boards.

What happened to nerd raging and screaming how you'll never play a game again and how it's "shit" all to just tuck your tail, swallow your pride and play again moments later...In private???

im not only complaining about the shitty servers im telling people who are going through all this trouble to get a new bo2 or a new blu ray that its the connection not the game or blu ray. i guess it can be but if you clean the blu ray and do the textures thing etc... then it can be the connections so try that first. its a rant and a help post in 1.

This isn't a massive problem for loads of people, so it's hardly Treyarch's fault.

Second, please break the wall of text into paragraphs, so sections of four or 5 lines, this makes it more appealing and people will want to read it then.

Thrid, it's Call Of Duty it is basically designed to make you rage, this series is about just plain join u game have fun, but most of us take it to seriously and forget that, this then means we notice tge little details that are not perfect and get annoyed by these details.

Fourth, they are using the ID3 engine (although modified) that engine came out in 1993, so thats basicly trying to modify 20 year old technology to work as good as somthing built today, it carn't be done so there is alot of problems that are just cause the engine is so lacking in modern features, so when (if) they change the engine (maybe with next gen consoles), this would fix (atleast improve) alot of the current issues people are having with the game.
