(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); 1. Ok so my first question is why do I have connection spikes when I'm in a game. Like I get a 1 bar for like 2 seconds then go back to full green everytime. Or it would be 2 bars and then goes back to green. It's annoying because its hard to play league play.

2. Why do people that get master later then others get put in the easier sub division. My friend got placed in an easy one where the first guy is 650 and my guy is 3000 already.

It could be a whole host of factors. From a lot of people in your area using the bandwith for that area to bottlenecks at the host end. Or a sudden drop in your connection quality. Or could be the game has paired you with a less than ideal host or you are still connecting to the server.

FYI lag jumps happen all the time due to the natural of networks.

To answer your 2nd question sub divisions are based on the top % of players. For example if you're within the top 2% of all players that have completed their placement games you'll be in masters division. Usually the people who play league right at the start of the season are the ones that play it often and enjoy it so they'll be more active. Initially each ladder starts with only 1 Masters sub division, but as more and more people get placed the number of people in the top 2% gets bigger and more sub divisions have to be created. The people who play league a little after it comes out are the ones that aren't too interested in it so what they do is get placed and only play league play occasionally hence making it an easy sub division to move up in. People in Masters division usually play a lot, so the whole inactive sub division thing is more common in Platinum and under.

Hope that explains it.

What do you mean someone is using the bandwith? I'm afraid to call them by myself since they might ask me to do something I don't know how to do. And usually my dad doesn't care about me as long as his computer is working so he would flip if I called them. Is there anyway I can fix it from my PC?

Is there anyway I can fix it? Its literally like a 1 second lag spike but when youre playing hardpoint one second is all they need. I have 4 computers and one ps3.

Lag spikes happen to me aswell, try unplugging your router/moderm and plug it back in. i have 60mb of speed but i still sometimes get shit connection. but i dont really think its actually 60mb, its probably shared with everyone in my area who are using the bandwith.

Download speed really doesn't affect lag on multiplayer games. It's typical your ping, plus most of the consoles are bottlenecked themselves. Doesn't really help when the host has a shit connection because it gets further bottlenecked by the console and so forth.
