Well, this is what I'm pretty sure is happening.

Most tryhards are more or less dedicated to the game or care about their stats, most likely they will want the map pack as well seeing as they are dedicated to the game.

Most noobs suck at the game to begin with and don't care much, they don't care enough to buy the map pack. (Maybe in some rare occasions though)

I do know what you mean as well, I can't find one noob lobby unless I play Core and not Revolution.

Yeah... I wanted to play nuketown yesterday and all that came up was the new maps... I deleted the map pack and just had n00bs. I went 45-0 in my first game of kill comfirmed. The high scorestreaks were rollin' Smile

Cake is a lie
This is usually the case but normally after 2-3 map packs are out this is really true.

Probably not worth deleting maps. Are you not a "tryhard" when you go 100+? I get wanting to play some noobs here and there but why reduce other good players to "tryhards'? I understand just wanting to beast but using a pejorative to describe players equal or better than yourself is funny...

Also staying out of Revolution only lobbies will yield more noobs as well.

i dont consider myself a try hard, i just like playing a game where not everryone on the other team is my skill level. i dont mind playing players my skill but not every fukin time, they need to take that shit outta the game. skillbased matchmaking is pathetic, u can play someone ur skill level, but they can be in south america and im in the uk, and if they have host, im screwed. hell, its not my fault the opposition are shit and cant aim to save their lives. also the players who have the map packs are the worst campers ive ever seen... first game i played was on mirage, people sitting in corners.... your not goanna learn the map that way...

You aren't a "try hard" but anybody else who is at your skill level is a "try hard" and you don't want to play them?

People will learn the map the way they want to learn the map, just because they aren't learning the map they way you want them to doesn't make it wrong.

I was playing Domination on Hydro 55-5, would of been more but they all left. They were sat in corners and stuff, so I used it to capture the objectives and get easy kills.

just cant believe there isnt a search without dlc option on this cod. that is a good tool when u struggle finding local lobbies.
